The 3 Ingredients of the cLc Learning Platform

UniServity cLc connecting Learning communities

The UniServity cLc Learning Platform provides a single school, cluster of schools or Local Authority / School District with a comprehensive suite of online tools that support and enhance learning, collaboration, communication and administration.

Here are the 3 simple ingredients...

People                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Each student, teacher, governor, parent and other school stakeholder can have a unique password and secure ID as well as their very own ePortfolio learning space.

Communities                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Teachers and learners can create communities within the cLc that better suite their individual learning needs and desired learning objectives than a traditional classroom environment. Examples of these could be:- a community of Gifted and Talented students within one or across several; a collaborative project of students in a class, year group or cluster of schools, or an extra curricular special interest community.

Tools                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Online Forums, Blogs, Podcasts and Wikis are familiar social networking tools. Learners are able to use these 21st Century learning tools to enhance their learning experience within the secure environment of the UniServity cLc. There is also a range of administration and management tools for teachers.
