UniServity, a leading international provider of their Becta accredited Learning Platform, "Connected Learning Community" (cLc) announced today that it has received an investment of £2.4 million from investors Quester Capital Management Limited, to support its further growth in the UK and internationally.

The £2.4 million investment will provide UniServity with the additional working capital to consolidate its market leading position and further increase the investment in research and development to ensure their Connected Learning Community (cLc) Learning Platform continues to adapt and develop in line with the education sector's ever changing requirements.

Alan Wood, CEO of UniServity explains; "Our customers both at local authority and school level require robust and effective partnerships with their suppliers in order to support them through what is both an exciting and challenging period of transformation in education. This investment will ensure that UniServity is able to provide the best possible level of capacity and capability to meet our customer's needs now and in the future. Our customers will benefit significantly from this investment."

Henry Sallitt , from Quester, who will sit on the board of directors at UniServity added; "In the last two years UniServity has built a very strong base of customersnot only in the UK but as far afield as China. The quality of references received from customers throughout the world and the impact educationally that the company and its product is having, clearly set the business apart as a leader in this field. In talking to educators all over the world, it is evident that the company is leading the way in helping educators make the link between learning platforms and improving the way that people learn. In addition to the great work that is being done in the UK, we were very impressed with the feedback from practitioners and policy makers in a number of countries around the world."

UniServity is one of only a few learning platform providers approved by the British Education Communications and Technology Agency (BECTA) as an accredited supplier of learning platforms. UniServity's Connected Learning Community is used to support learning in both Primary and Secondary schools across 80 UK authorities.
