UniServity is extremely proud to announce Stephen Heppell, the e-learning guru, has been appointed as Chair of the UniServity Reference Group. Stephen will be a creative addition to this educational reference group.

The UniServity Reference Group will aim to be a central hub for creative 'blue sky' thinking, where ideas for today’s learning platform users and that of tomorrows, will be the focus of all discussion. This unique group will be formed and set-up by Stephen as Chair and will consist of key educational worldwide thinkers.

Stephen Heppell commented: "The 21st Century will be built on communities, by people for people and that will require great tools and platforms. This UniServity Reference Group is a unique and very 21st Century concept: I'm honoured to be its chair."

Labelled as the 'innovative thinkers' in learning platform solutions, UniServity is the only specialist learning platform provider on the recently-awarded Becta Learning Services Framework whose technology solution has been built and developed in the UK. The company continues its success by, as Alan Wood, managing director UniServity commented: "UniServity is passionate about transforming and improving the way that people learn. With over one million people in 12 different countries now using UniServity's cLc learning platform, we feel that we are in a privileged position of being able to listen to these young people and adults, and observe the new and powerful ways in which they are collaborating and learning. Best of all, we are able to share these exciting new learning journeys and the outcomes with other educators all over the world."

"The UniServity Reference Group is a crucial part of this process, designed with the purpose of anticipating the needs of current and future generations of learners. We are delighted and proud to have Stephen leading this agenda for us given the breadth and depth of this experience and insight, and more importantly his commitment to learning in the 21st Century"
